Airbus UK · Cranfield University
Metrology lead for a work package on the £1m AutoRAMP programme, part of R&T for A320 wing manufacturing. Developed the metrology code that guided multiple industrial robots during assembly, and took the work package from procurement and design through deployment, with successful TRL reviews at production standards.
Airbus UK · Wing of Tomorrow
Led metrology systems development for an automated wing in-tank inspection concept. Ran a technology feasibility study with trials ranging from K-CMM systems to scanning systems, and took the software from low TRL towards a production-ready system.
SAFRAN Nacelles
Measured nacelle components and business jet engine casings, introduced quality control and risk management measures to meet specification and safety requirements, and streamlined inspection processes to reduce inspection time.
